The economic situation does not look bright. There is a high rate of unemployment and an increasing tendency for insolvency especially in medium-sized businesses. The fear for becoming redundant is high. In times of economic instability cost-saving measures in organisations are executed, and mostly the expenses in projects for HR development are curtailed.

This is fatal! It sounds paradox, but the best prevention for an abatement of unemployment is continuous personnel development.

Each human resource manager knows that employees being confronted with a possible loss of employment are in a paralysis of fear. Scientific perceptions from the science of the Energology at the IFE have shown, that fear saps essential energy, and even especially if we have no conscious cognitions to this.
If we, the entrepreneurs, cannot use the most important potential of a company, which is the human being, because it is blocked by fear, it is time to change something.

Don’t let this state of emergency become a steady-state!
In times of critical economic coherences, it is the task of HR development to develop conditions, which prevent that states of emergence become steady-states. Here we see how standard HR development is distinguished from HR development in vital organisations. A vital organisation knows how to practise meaningful and trend-setting prophylaxis.
